Matthew James ``Matt'' Connor, 27, of the 4000 block of Scotfield Drive, diedNov. 14, 1997.

Mr. Connor, a native of Jacksonville, N.C., was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a dental technician.

Survivors include his parents, Edmond David Connor and Margie O'Donnell Connor; three brothers, Patrick M. Connor and his wife, Lynn, Christopher S. Connor and his wife, McKae, all of Chesapeake, Thomas E. Connor and his wife, Karen, of Portsmouth; a sister, Kathleen A. ``Dee Dee'' Latimer and her husband, Dean, of Portsmouth; and a niece, Kaitlyn M. Connor.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Tuesday in St. Therese Catholic Church by the Rev. James C. Griffin. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
