WILMA G. GRIGGS

Wilma Gray Griggs, 81, of the 200 block of West Constance Road, died Nov. 14, 1997, at Nansemond Pointe Convalescent Center.

Mrs. Griggs was a homemaker and a native of Peoria, Ill.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Wilson Griggs; two daughters, Donna G. Lambert of Little Rock Village, Ark. and Julie G. Rivard of Tacoma, Wash.; one son, Jack Griggs of Suffolk; one sister, Viola Gray of Crystal Lake, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her mother, Fay Scott and her father, William Gray.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Presentation by Father Thomas B. Nee. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harrell Funeral Home and other times at 252 Burnett's Way, home of the son. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
