Alma Lee Brown, 88, died Nov. 15, 1997.
Born in Moyock, N.C., she was a homemaker and the widow of George S. Brown Sr. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, George S. Brown Jr. and his wife, Vivienne, of Girton Cambridge, England; a nephew, Stanley L. Brown and his wife, Linda, of Chesapeake; a niece, Peggy L. MacRae and her husband, Lucky, of Aloha, Ore.; two grandchildren, Andrea C. Ison of Cambridge, England, and Adrian P. Brown of Girton Cambridge, England; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Crematory from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
