MARY R. BUSHEY

Mary Rebecca Bushey, of the 4000 block of Reese Drive, died Nov. 15, 1997, in a local hospital.

She was a native of Concord, N.C., and a Roman Catholic. She was an administrative assistant with Virginia International Terminals. She was also a former stockbroker and former assistant to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. She was very active in civic affairs.

Survivors include one son, Robert Gardner Bushey of Harrisburg, Pa.; longtime friend John Robert Coates of Portsmouth; and numerous loved ones in Concord and Philadelphia, Pa.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Concord. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Concord. The family will greet friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. after which the body will be taken to Hartsell Funeral Home Inc., Concord, where the family will greet friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
