Bernice Elizabeth Bush, 75, of 2229 Branch Drive died Nov. 17, 1997.
A native of Newsoms, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Cogsdale and Clarence C. Allen Sr. Mrs. Bush was a retired dental technician and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Clemons Bush; two brothers, Clarence C. Allen Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., William Randolph Allen of McAlester, Okla.; and a half-sister, Linda Allen of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, Suffolk, by Pastor Jim Wall. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to Western Branch Community Church, 3026 Tyre Neck Road, Portsmouth, Va. 23703. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
