DELMA L. ALLEN

Delma Lee Allen, 73, of the 1800 block of Burson Drive died Tuesday Nov. 18, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mrs. Allen was born in Old Norfolk County and was the daughter of the late Enoch J. and Susie Anna Gay Bell. She was predeceased by a sister, Velma A. Poynter, and a brother, Enoch J. Bell Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie E. Allen Sr.; two daughters, Mary L. Brickhouse and Linda M. Allen of Chesapeake; four sons, Eddie E. Allen Jr., Henry J. Allen, John W. Allen and George L. Allen, all of Chesapeake; a sister, Thelma F. Howell of Portsmouth; a brother, Charlie J. Bell of Ruther Glen, Va.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Charlie Johnson. The family will receive friends at the Great Bridge chapel of Oman Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
