Helen Sears Snow, 79, a Portsmouth resident, died Nov. 17, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Jesse Snow.
Survivors include a sister, Catherine Crews of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Troy Sears of Clinton, Miss.; three nieces, Joyce J. Holmes of Suffolk, Ruby M. Morgan of Portsmouth, Elizabeth Kimbler of Huntington, W.Va.; and a nephew, Archie Wallace of Portsmouth.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Herbert Bowman. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
