Daniel Miller Sr. of the 3000 block of Pewter Road died Nov. 16, 1997.
Born in Columbia, S.C., he was employed by the Virginia Beach School System.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle V. Miller; four daughters, Phyllis Phillips, Sylvia Toby, both of Virginia Beach, Cassandra Boyles, Frieda Miller, both of Columbia, S.C.; two sons, George Phillips of Virginia Beach, Daniel Miller Jr. of Baltimore; a brother, Franklin Miller of Columbia, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Jonathan Thomas. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
