Mrs. Doretha E. Williams, formerly of No. 8 Dewey St., died Nov. 18., 1997, in Manning Convalescent Home.
She was an active member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church where she participated in the Senior Choir and Missionary Society. She was the widow of Herbert A. ``Radio'' Williams and the daughter of the late Lula Trotter and Eugene Trotter.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Claudette Williams Thomas of Richmond; a son, Herbert A. Williams Jr. of Portsmouth; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Curtis Edmonds. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. The family will be at the home of Herbert A.
