Mary Rhodes (Dozier) Moore, 71, of 531 Rivers Reach, died Nov. 20, 1997, in aSentara nursing home.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., she retired from Crestar Bank and worked at Newton's Florist. She was the daughter of Gertie Mae and Johnny Rhodes.
Survivors include a son, John T. Dozier Sr. of North Carolina; three daughters, Darlene LaRoche-Cassidy and Teresa Ferguson, both of Virginia Beach, and Candi Long of North Carolina; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
