HARTENSE V. BRASHIER

Hartense V. Brashier, 73, of the 5100 block of Shoulders Hill Road, died Nov. 21, 1997, in Maryview Medical Center.

A native of Portsmouth, she had retired as an office manager for Aldo Construction Corp. and attended Westhaven Baptist Church. She was a 43-year member of Esther Chapter No. 37-O.E.S. She was the widow of Robert Daniel Brashier.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra B. Wilburn and her husband, Terry, of Suffolk; a son, Robert Daniel Brashier II of Richmond; a sister, Carrie V. Smith of Portsmouth; and a granddaughter, LeeAnn Wilburn.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Olive Branch Cemetery with Eastern Star Rites by the Rev. Garland Hines. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Bennetts Creek Rescue Squad. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
