Velma D. Moore, 96, formerly of Norfolk, died Nov. 21, 1997.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon A. Moore, a prominent architect of the 1950's.
Survivors include a daughter, Luvinia Bateman of Newport News; three sons, Ed and Joe Moore of Alabama and Carl Moore of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
