Eva Mae Brown, 90, of the 100 block of Dale Drive died Nov. 20, 1997, in Lake Taylor Nursing Home.
Born in Marion, S.C., she was the widow of Thomas Brown. She was a member and deaconess of Holy Trinity No. 2, Piedmont Ave., Portsmouth. She was predeceased by her parents, Melvena Sparks and Eli Sparks.
Survivors include a son, Ferman Brown and his wife, Annie Mae Brown; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; a nephew, Willie L. McCall and his wife, Thelma McCall; and a host of grand-nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Holy Trinity No. 2, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at Rogers Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
