E.A. Harris Jr., 75, of the 5100 block of Cypress Point Circle died Nov. 25, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
Born in Mecklenburg County, Va., he was a retired salesman with American Uniform. He was a member of Azalea Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marion M. Harris; three daughters and their husbands, Bonnie and Clifton Lowell of Cumming, Ga., Jane and Kenneth Bliss of Chesapeake, Robin and Larry Meador of Fort Smith, Ark.; two sisters, Olivia Dalton of St. Louis, Mo. and Lugene Boice of Virginia Beach; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m Friday in Azalea Baptist Church by the Rev. Jan G. Oberdick. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Azalea Baptist Church Youth Fund.
