ARNOLD R. STONEMAN

Arnold Robert Stoneman, 49, of the 200 block of Robin Hood Road, went to be with the Lord Nov. 26, 1997, from his home.

Born in Portsmouth, he was a firefighter and operator with the Norfolk Fire and Paramedical Services for 23 years and a member of International Association of Firefighters Local No. 68. He was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church, Chesapeake, where he was a deacon. Mr. Stoneman was the former owner and president of Green Makers Inc. Lawn Care Service.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Cottonn Stoneman; a daughter, Kelly Marie Stoneman of Chesapeake; his stepmother, Laura P. Stoneman of Portsmouth; his father, Harvey G. Stoneman of Portsmouth; a sister, Carolyn S. Stevens and her husband, Gary R., of Virginia Beach; a brother, Glenn E. Stoneman and his wife, Winnie C., of Norfolk; a stepsister, JoAnne Vrhovac and her husband, Jack V., of Chesapeake; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in South Norfolk Baptist Church by Dr. Paul Lawson. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at South Norfolk Baptist Church from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday and at the residence at all other times. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
