SUSIE J. CLARK

Susie Jones Clark, 104, of the 34000 block of The Hall Road died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

She was a native of Greensville County, Va., and a lifelong member and The Mother of Galilee Baptist Church, Branchville, Va. She was the widow of Robert Clark.

Survivors include six daughters, Catherine Williams, Nancy Clark of Suffolk, Emily Vick of Franklin, Mamie Clark, Conceller Clark of Branchville, Mary V. Clark of Chesapeake; two sons, Robert R. Clark of Suffolk and James L. Clark of Portsmouth; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Rejetta Blick.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Galilee Baptist Church, Branchville, by the Rev. Shelwood Claude. Burial will be in Galilee Church Cemetery. Remains will be placed in the church by noon. Wm. M. Johnson and Sons Inc. is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
