DELLA R. ADAMS

Della R. Adams, 68, of the 4700 block of Barger St. died Nov. 27, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she had retired in 1990 as a school bus driver after 42 years of service with the City of Chesapeake. She was the widow of Frank J. Adams, and a Baptist.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda A. Pinson of Chesapeake; two sons, George R. Adams and William T. Adams, both of Virginia Beach; her mother, Lillian Marie Pritchard of Chesapeake; two sisters, Shirley McGrath of Virginia Beach and Edith Arnold of Whaleyville, Va.; a brother, William A. Pritchard Jr. of Chesapeake; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, John Henry Rudiger.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Evelyn Puckett. The family will be at the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
