CAMERON H. SPRINGER

Cameron H. Springer, 85, of the 1100 block of St. Julian Drive, died Nov. 27, 1997, in Portsmouth.

A native of North Dakota, he was the widower of Katherine Legg Springer. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years and also from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Spratley of Portsmouth; a sister, Edith Canton of Biloxi, Miss.; a brother, Joseph Springer of Biloxi; two grandchildren, Linwood E. Spratley and Felicia Scholten; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Dave Libengood. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
