LAWRENCE JARMON

Lawrence ``Larry'' Jarmon, 69, of the 3500 block of Gamage Drive died Nov. 27, 1997.

Born in Monroe, N.C., he had retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service. He had also retired from L. Jarmon Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Laurel Avenue Church of Christ. Mr. Jarmon was a member of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge No. 257, Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies and Norfolk Moose Lodge No. 39.

Survivors include his wife, June Kay Jarmon; a daughter, Linda Kay Jarmon of Virginia Beach; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Kay Hickok of Virginia Beach; a son, John Jarmon of Chesapeake; two stepsons, Robert M. Corprew Jr. and James Lee Corprew, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, Leslie Grimstead and his wife, Jean, of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; in-laws, George M. Carter and Edna M. Carter of Virginia Beach; and a special aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Everton of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Laurel Avenue Church of Christ by the Rev. Rupert R. Wallace. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
