ELRICK L. JONES

Elrick Lionel Jones, 39, departed this life Nov. 25, 1997.

A native of King & Queen County, Va., he was a member of Second Mount Olive Baptist Church, Little Plymouth, Va. He was a 1977 graduate of Central High School and a 1981 graduate of the University of Richmond. He was employed by Q.V.C., Suffolk, and was the proprietor of Atlantic Technologies Inc., Virginia Beach.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Fannie Castella Jones of Little Plymouth, Va.; a son, Christopher Jones of Virginia Beach; a brother, Franklin R. Jones of Gloucester, Va.; two sisters, Caroline E. Jones of Richmond, Rosemary Pollard of Little Plymouth; three aunts, a great-aunt, two great-uncles, three nieces, four nephews, a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law and a devoted friend, Karen Jeffries.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Second Mount Olive Baptist Church, Little Plymouth, by the Rev. Keith L. Parham. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence of his mother at 12:15 p.m. Sunday. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in White-Tidewater Funeral Home, Jamaica, Va.
