In a recent letter from Jack Lofthouse, Publicity Chairman for the Convention, he states as follows: "the Bayshore Inn - is a most beautiful location on a yacht basin in Vancouver harbor. It was featured in Life Magazine a few years ago as one of the most attractive hotels in the world." - "The show will be held in Queen Elizabeth Park. This beautiful park is located on the highest point in the city, with a panoramic view of Vancouver. A tropical conservatory is constructed in the form of an air conditioned plastic dome. Part of this new complex, comprising a number of features with fountains, streams and planters, is covered by a natural cedar walk-through. This is the setting for our show. We believe it will be a setting for the best A.R.S. Convention ever. (Please pardon my enthusiasm)."
