Wesley Creel of Raleigh has been named director of the Museum of the Albemarle. Formerly the assistant administrator of branch museums for the North Carolina Museum of History, Creel brings 20 years of museum experience to his new position. Prior to his work at the North Carolina Museum of History, Creel directed Arkansas' museum services division and was a curator at the University of Kentucky Museum of Anthropology.
